Apoo earned his place among the eleven Supernovas at the Sabaody Archipelago, the captain of his own crew, the On Air Pirates.

A long-armed member of the Longarm Tribe, he carries himself like a showman, treating battle as a kind of musical performance.

Story & Growth

Where most of the Worst Generation made enemies of the Emperors, Apoo did the opposite — secretly siding with the Emperor Kaido and acting as one of his informants.

That treachery saw him betray his fellow rookies, and he served the Beasts Pirates through the Wano conflict, scheming and switching sides to whatever kept him alive.

Apoo ate the Oto Oto no Mi, a Paramecia Devil Fruit that turns his body into living musical instruments.
