Urouge is a so-called fallen monk who hails from one of the sky islands high above the Grand Line.
He descended to the seas below and built the Fallen Monk Pirates, earning a place among the eleven Supernovas who gathered at the Sabaody Archipelago.

Where many of the Worst Generation fell or were captured in the New World, Urouge proved a survivor.
