Background & Origin

Bege built his reputation in the style of an old-world mafia don — a ruthless, calculating gang leader rather than a typical pirate. He brought that reputation to the Sabaody Archipelago as one of the eleven Supernovas.

In the New World he pledged his crew to the Emperor Big Mom, even marrying into her vast family.

Story & Growth

Bege's loyalty to Big Mom was a façade. He secretly plotted to assassinate her, and at the Whole Cake Island wedding he turned on the Emperor in the middle of her own celebration.

When the plot failed, the practical Bege threw in with Luffy and the others, using his powers to shield their desperate escape from Totto Land.

Abilities & Powers

Bege ate the Shiro Shiro no Mi, a Paramecia Devil Fruit that turns his body into a living fortress. He can take people inside himself, into a pocket dimension shaped like a fully equipped castle complete with his own soldiers.

In battle he can transform into a colossal armed citadel, making him both a near-impregnable defence and a mobile war machine.
