Background & Origin
Hody was a great white shark fish-man and once a soldier of the Neptune Army that guards Fish-Man Island.
He became a militant disciple of the late Arlong's hateful ideals — yet, unlike Arlong, Hody had never personally suffered at human hands. His hatred was inherited, a poison fed to him by others rather than born of his own pain.
Story & Growth
Hody founded the New Fish-Man Pirates and launched a coup to seize Fish-Man Island, intending to overthrow its royal family and wage war on humanity itself.
His uprising was stopped by the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy defeated him, and Hody — having ruined his own body for the sake of power — ended as a broken, pitiful figure.
Abilities & Powers
Hody possesses the great natural strength of a shark fish-man, magnified enormously underwater, and fights with savagery and rows of regrowing teeth.
To become stronger he gorged himself on 'Energy Steroids', a drug that multiplied his power at a terrible cost — accelerating his body's ageing and leaving him a wreck once their effect faded.
