Background & Origin
Doflamingo was born a Celestial Dragon, one of the World Nobles who rule above all law. When his family renounced that status, the young Doflamingo was dragged down into a world that hated his bloodline — and he emerged from it utterly without mercy.
He built the Donquixote Pirates and clawed his way to the top of the criminal underworld, becoming both a Warlord of the Sea and a feared broker of weapons, slaves and Devil Fruits.
Story & Growth
Doflamingo seized the throne of the kingdom of Dressrosa, ruling it for years behind a mask of benevolence while secretly enslaving its people.
His empire fell when the Straw Hats and Trafalgar Law — whose mentor Doflamingo had killed — came to Dressrosa. Luffy defeated him in a furious battle, ending his reign and his Warlord status for good.
