Background & Origin
Daz Bones served as Mr. 1, the highest-ranking officer agent of Baroque Works, the criminal organisation secretly run by Crocodile.
A cold, professional fighter, he was Crocodile's most trusted enforcer, and the two formed a bond that would outlast the organisation itself.
Story & Growth
During the Alabasta arc, Daz Bones fought the Straw Hats' swordsman, Roronoa Zoro — a duel in which Zoro learned to cut steel itself, and finally defeated him.
Imprisoned after Baroque Works fell, Daz Bones later escaped and reunited with Crocodile, standing at his side once more as a founding figure of the bounty-hunting Cross Guild.
