Background & Origin

Abandoned as a child for her dangerous size and strength, Linlin was raised by the nun Mother Carmel, who planted in her the dream of a kingdom where every race of the world could live together as equals.

Linlin grew into one of the most feared pirates alive, founding the Big Mom Pirates and building Totto Land — a territory of islands made of sweets. To populate her family she bore 85 children, installing them as the ministers of her realm.

Story & Growth

As an Emperor, Big Mom ruled Totto Land for decades, her name shielding islands and her wrath levelling them. The Straw Hats first crossed her when they infiltrated Whole Cake Island, escaping her grasp by the narrowest of margins.

Her reign ended at Wano, where the rival rookies Trafalgar Law and Eustass Kid struck her down together — and, like Kaido, she was toppled from the ranks of the Four Emperors.

Abilities & Powers

Big Mom ate the Soru Soru no Mi, which lets her tear out fragments of a person's soul and breathe them into objects, creating living 'homies'. Her three greatest homies — the sun Prometheus, the cloud Zeus, and the sword Napoleon — fight at her side.

Giant in size and strength, she possesses immense durability and commands all three forms of Haki, making her one of the most dangerous pirates of her era.
