Kuro was the captain of the Black Cat Pirates, a cunning and merciless pirate notorious enough to draw the Marines' constant attention.
Tired of being hunted, the brilliant Kuro engineered an elaborate plan: he faked his own execution and vanished, taking on the false identity of 'Klahadore', a gentle butler in a quiet seaside village.
Story & Growth
For three years Kuro served patiently as the butler of a wealthy, sickly young woman named Kaya, scheming to murder her and steal her fortune as the final step of his retirement.
His plot was undone when Luffy, Zoro, Nami and Usopp uncovered it. In the battle that followed, Luffy defeated Kuro and shattered the careful plan he had spent years building.
