Background & Origin

Wiper is a descendant of Calgara, a legendary Shandia warrior, and the leader of the Shandia fighters on the sky island of Skypiea.

His people, the Shandia, were driven from their ancestral land — the soil that became Upper Yard — and for four hundred years they waged a bitter war to take it back.

Story & Growth

Consumed by that centuries-old struggle, Wiper would sacrifice anything, even his own life, to win back his people's land.

When the Straw Hats arrived on Skypiea, Wiper fought against the tyrannical 'God' Enel — and in the aftermath of Enel's fall, the Shandia and the people of Skypiea finally made peace, ending four hundred years of war.

Abilities & Powers

Wiper is a powerful Shandia warrior who fights with the explosive 'Dial' weapons of the sky islands — most notably the 'Burn Bazooka' and the reckless 'Reject Dial', a weapon so powerful it threatens the life of its own user.

His greatest weapon, however, is a will so fierce that he simply refuses to fall.
