Background & Origin

Gan Fall once ruled Skypiea as its God, the title given to the sky island's leader.

Unlike those before and after him, Gan Fall was a gentle and honourable ruler who hated the endless war with the Shandia and sought reconciliation rather than conquest.

Story & Growth

Gan Fall lost his throne to the tyrant Enel, who seized Skypiea and ruled it through terror. Cast down, the old knight did not give up — he watched over the island from the sky, aiding those in need.

After the Straw Hats helped bring down Enel, Gan Fall was restored as God of Skypiea, and at last presided over peace between the sky people and the Shandia.
