Background & Origin

King serves as the most senior of Kaido's three All-Stars, the 'Calamities' who command the bulk of the Beasts Pirates.

He is one of the last of the Lunarians, a near-extinct race once revered as gods for their ability to survive anywhere and to produce flame from their own bodies. Hunted for his rarity, King was found and taken in by Kaido, and has stood at the Emperor's side ever since.

Story & Growth

For years King was Kaido's most trusted enforcer, helping the Beasts Pirates rule Wano Country with absolute force.

During the raid on Onigashima he fought to protect his captain to the very end, clashing with the Straw Hats' swordsman Roronoa Zoro in a battle that finally brought him down.

Abilities & Powers

King ate an Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit, the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pteranodon, letting him transform into a pteranodon and take to the air.

As a Lunarian he can also generate fire from his back and possesses extraordinary durability, his body shielded by a near-impenetrable resistance to harm. He is a master of Haki and was considered Kaido's strongest subordinate.
