Burgess was one of the original members of Marshall D. Teach's crew, serving as the Blackbeard Pirates' helmsman from their earliest days.
Loud and theatrical, he styles himself a champion and revels in tests of raw strength.
Story & Growth
Burgess rose with his crew as the Blackbeard Pirates climbed toward the rank of an Emperor, and became the captain of the crew's first ship among the Ten Titanic Captains.
He surfaced at the Dressrosa tournament, competing for Ace's old Devil Fruit while secretly working to further Blackbeard's hunt for power.
