Background & Origin

Blueno served in CP9, the World Government's covert assassination unit, working alongside its strongest members, Rob Lucci and Kaku.

Like his colleagues, he lived undercover, posing as the keeper of a quiet bar in Water 7 while secretly gathering intelligence for the Government.

Story & Growth

When CP9's mission reached its climax, Blueno helped capture Nico Robin and fought to deliver her to the World Government.

At Enies Lobby he faced Luffy directly, and was defeated as Luffy first unveiled the 'Gear Second' technique. Blueno later resurfaced among the ranks of the elite agency CP0.

Abilities & Powers

Blueno ate the Doa Doa no Mi, a Paramecia Devil Fruit that lets him create doors on any surface — including the empty air.

With it he can pass through walls, vanish and reappear at will, and open a doorway into a pocket 'air room'. He combines this with a mastery of the Rokushiki martial art.
