Background & Origin
Helmeppo first appeared as the arrogant, spoiled son of the corrupt Marine captain 'Axe-Hand' Morgan, throwing his father's authority around in the town of Shells Town.
He was a thoroughly unpleasant boy — until his father's fall, and a meeting with Luffy and Koby, set his life on an entirely different course.
Story & Growth
Helmeppo chose to become a true Marine, enlisting alongside the equally green Koby.
Under the tutelage of the hero Garp, the two trained relentlessly and grew up together — Helmeppo shedding his old cowardice and rising, side by side with his friend, into the ranks of capable Marine officers.
