Background & Origin

Yasopp comes from Syrup Village in the East Blue, where he left behind a wife and a young son to chase his dream of a life at sea.

He joined the crew of Red-Haired Shanks, and over the years became one of the Emperor's most trusted crewmates.

Story & Growth

Yasopp has sailed with the Red Hair Pirates through their rise into one of the Four Emperors' crews.

Though he left his son Usopp behind as a child, the stories of Yasopp's marksmanship shaped the boy's own dream — and years later, fate would set father and son on courses that draw ever closer.
