Background & Origin
Catarina Devon, the 'Crescent-Moon Hunter', was a notorious pirate of an earlier age, infamous enough to be locked away on the deepest level of the great prison Impel Down.
She spent years on that death-row level until the chaos of Blackbeard's invasion set her free.
Story & Growth
Freed from Impel Down by Blackbeard, Devon chose to join his crew.
As the Blackbeard Pirates rose to the rank of an Emperor, she became one of their Ten Titanic Captains, commanding a ship of the fleet — a captain whose old reputation for cruelty made her a fitting officer of the new Emperor.
