Background & Origin
Borsalino has served for years as one of the Marines' admirals, the rank just below Fleet Admiral. He is famous for a relaxed, almost careless attitude, drifting through conversations and battles alike at his own unhurried pace.
That manner masks one of the most dangerous powers in the world, and earned him the nickname 'Yellow Monkey'.
Story & Growth
Kizaru has appeared at many of the story's turning points — scattering the Straw Hats at the Sabaody Archipelago, fighting at the Marineford war, and confronting pirates and revolutionaries across the New World.
His self-styled 'Unclear Justice' lets him serve the World Government without ever fully committing to its cruelty, leaving his true loyalties difficult to read.
