Vergo was one of the most trusted members of the Donquixote Pirates, an elite officer entirely loyal to Doflamingo.
Decades before the present, he was sent to infiltrate the Marines, slowly climbing the ranks of the very organisation he secretly betrayed — all to serve his true master.
Story & Growth
Rising to the rank of a high Marine officer, Vergo fed the Donquixote Pirates information and protection from within the Navy for years.
His double life ended at Punk Hazard, where his cover was exposed and he was defeated by Trafalgar Law — the man whose hatred of Doflamingo would soon bring the whole organisation down.
Abilities & Powers
Vergo carried no Devil Fruit, but he was an exceptionally powerful hand-to-hand fighter and a master of Armament Haki.
He could harden his entire body with Haki — even coating an ordinary stick of bamboo into a weapon hard enough to match a blade — making him one of the deadliest officers in Doflamingo's service.
