Trebol was one of the most senior and trusted officers of the Donquixote Pirates, part of the small inner circle at the heart of Doflamingo's crew.
Decades earlier, when the boy Doflamingo was at his lowest, it was Trebol who put a weapon in his hand and a path before him — quietly steering the fallen noble toward a life of crime and power.

Trebol stood beside Doflamingo throughout the crew's rise and its rule over Dressrosa.
When the Straw Hats and Trafalgar Law stormed the kingdom to bring Doflamingo down, Trebol fought to the end to protect the man he had made — and was defeated together with his master.
