Jozu served as one of the sixteen division commanders of the Whitebeard Pirates, leading the crew's third division.
A quiet, dependable figure, he was one of the senior officers Whitebeard relied upon, part of the family the Emperor had built around himself.
Story & Growth
Jozu fought on the front lines of the Marineford war, the great battle to save Whitebeard's 'son' Ace.
He clashed with Marine Admirals in the chaos, and in a single unguarded moment was gravely wounded — losing an arm in one of the war's many tragedies for the Whitebeard crew.
