Background & Origin

For eight hundred years the world has believed that the throne at the heart of the World Government — the 'Empty Throne' — sits deliberately vacant, a symbol that no single person rules the world.

In truth it is not empty. Imu sits upon it: a shadowy sovereign whose very existence is one of the World Government's most closely guarded secrets.

Story & Growth

Imu's existence was glimpsed during the Levely, the great council of kings, where even the Five Elders — the supposed highest authority in the world — were shown to kneel and answer to Imu.

Imu was also seen choosing certain figures from history to be erased, hinting at a will that has quietly shaped the world for centuries.
