To work on six problems at once, Dr. Vegapunk split his mind into six satellite bodies, each carrying a single facet of his personality. York is the satellite that embodies his greed.
She served on Egghead Island as part of the collective 'Vegapunk', handling the appetites and desires the great scientist had set aside in himself.
Story & Growth
When the World Government moved against Vegapunk for his forbidden research, York saw an opportunity rather than a threat.
She revealed herself as a traitor, betraying the other Vegapunks in a bid to be the sole surviving 'Vegapunk' — and to be rewarded by the World Government with the status of a World Noble.
