Background & Origin
Perona served as one of the senior members of Gecko Moria's Thriller Bark Pirates, commanding the ship's zombie forces from her own gothic corner of the haunted vessel.
With a taste for both cute fashion and grim, haunted aesthetics, she ruled her domain on Thriller Bark like a spoiled, sulky princess.
Story & Growth
Perona's reign on Thriller Bark ended when the Straw Hats arrived and defeated her crew.
She fled to the dark island of Kuraigana, where — to her own surprise — she ended up keeping company with the swordsman Roronoa Zoro and the great Mihawk during the Straw Hats' two-year separation, even helping Zoro find his way back to his crew.
